Slowly it dawned upon me that I could do this. I could lay words together and create images and emotions that could affect not only me but others too. Writing is a form of meditation for me. It takes me into that zone and when I leave that special place I feel somewhat refreshed and enlightened. This is the same for when I'm reading stories, listening to music or watching a good movie. I'm sure many people will agree that the reason why books, films and music are so popular is because they are forms of escapism. The poetry in this e-book was created over the last 4 to 5 years. Even when I read them now I can remember how I was feeling when I wrote them. How you feel when you read them and what images are conjured is not my business.
