umrah guide in arabic: Hajj & Umrah Fisabilillah Authenticate Ulama's Organization, 2016-03-03 INTRODUCTION Hajj, the fifth pillar of Islam, brings together Muslims of all races and creed to adopt two unidentifiable white pieces of cloth in an awesome demonstration of Islam's total disregard of insignificant issues like race, social position and nationality. Annually, several million people make the pilgrimage to Makkah from every corner of the globe, providing a unique opportunity of those different nations to meet one another, making it the largest gathering in the world. It is a clear-cut act of worship, but also it is symbolic and represents the spirit's return to itsplace of origin. Hajj is an essential duty (fardh) for all Muslims, who are physically and financially able to perform it. Allah Ta'ala has prescribed certain rites that a pilgrim should uphold for his pilgrimage to be correct. The primary condition is intention (niyyah), while the others will be mentioned in their places. The meaning of the pilgrimage (Hajj meaning effort) is to leave all worldly activities aside and go forth to meet Allah Ta'ala. The purpose of Hajj is to develop consciousness of Allah Ta'ala and also spiritual upliftment. It is also an opportunity to atone sins collected throughout life. Prophet Muhammad [PBUH] had said that a person who performs Hajj properly will return as (sinless as ) a newly born baby. Due to the usual practice of Umrah being performed before the Hajj, it was deemed appropriate that this publication starts with Umrah. The first part of this book deals with the procedures of Umrah. It clearly outlines the entire procedure of how Umrah should be performed, explaining each part of Umrah individually and giving a breakdown of which actions are necessary and which one's are Sunnah and virtuous. Thereafter the rites of Hajj are described in full in the same clear distinctive manner. Starting from the explanation of the three types of Hajj and how they differ. The Hajj at a glance diagram has been specially made to assist the Hajji in simplifying the procedure further. |

umrah guide in arabic: EASY GUIDE TO ARABIC GRAMMAR FOR UNDERSTANDING QURAN AND HADITH Abo Othman Kharisman, 2023-04-11 As Muslims, we have the desire to have a proper understanding of the Quran and the hadiths of the Prophet. To understand the Quran we need the explanations of the Olama (Islamic scholars) in their interpretations. Likewise, to understand the hadiths of the Prophet, we need to study the sharh (explanations) of the Olama. If we want to understand the explanations of the Olama, we need to equip ourselves with proper skills in the Arabic language. Only then we can understand the structure of Arabic in the fields of Nahwu and Shorof (Tashrif). This book is meant as a guide to equip readers with basic passive Arabic skills to understand Arabic with the help of a dictionary. Hopefully, it can be a useful starting point in developing Arabic language skills. The main references referred to in this book include matn al-Ajurrumiyyah with its syarh, such as the syarh of Shaykh Ibn Uthaimin and also al-Mumti' by Malik bin Salim bin Mathor al-Mahdzariy who was taqdim Shaykh Muqbil bin Hadi al-Wadi'iy (rahimahullah). Likewise, the book Durusul Lughoh al-Arobiyyah by Dr. V. Abdurrahim, with his syarh by Husain bin Ahmad bin Abdillah Aalu Ali. Not to forget al-Amthilatut Tashrifiyyah who was commanded by the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Saifuddin Zuhri. This book provides many examples in the form of sentences taken from verses of the Quran, corresponding with what is being discussed in the lessons. We also used hadiths of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and sayings of the Ulama of Ahlussunnah taken from their literature. In most of the chapters, there are exercises in the form of questions to practice. This includes exercises in translating non-characterized Arabic writings. Sometimes we added a mini dictionary to facilitate the completion of the tasks. This book originally printed in Indonesian language as title “Panduan Mudah Memahami Bahasa Arab (Dasar-dasar Ilmu Nahwu dan Tashrif”. Then, translated into English by Abo Abdil Aziz Obaid al-Holandiy. Jazaahullaahu khayran. May be some transliteration in this book still in Indonesian style. |
umrah guide in arabic: Green Deen Ibrahim Abdul-Matin, 2013-01-21 A Muslim environmentalist explores the fascinating intersection of environmentalism and Islam. Muslims are compelled by their religion to praise the Creator and to care for their community. But what is not widely known is that there are deep and long-standing connections between Islamic teachings and environmentalism. In this groundbreaking book, Ibrahim Abdul-Matin draws on research, scripture, and interviews with Muslim Americans to trace Islam’s preoccupation with humankind’s collective role as stewards of the Earth. Abdul-Matin points out that the Prophet Muhammad declared “the Earth is a mosque.” Using the concept of Deen, which means “path” or “way” in Arabic, Abdul-Matin offers dozens of examples of how Muslims can follow, and already are following, a Green Deen in four areas: “waste, watts (energy), water, and food.” |

umrah guide in arabic: Akhenaten and the Origins of Monotheism James K. Hoffmeier, 2015-02-13 Pharaoh Akhenaten, who reigned for seventeen years in the fourteenth century B.C.E, is one of the most intriguing rulers of ancient Egypt. His odd appearance and his preoccupation with worshiping the sun disc Aten have stimulated academic discussion and controversy for more than a century. Despite the numerous books and articles about this enigmatic figure, many questions about Akhenaten and the Atenism religion remain unanswered. In Akhenaten and the Origins of Monotheism, James K. Hoffmeier argues that Akhenaten was not, as is often said, a radical advocating a new religion, but rather a primitivist: that is, one who reaches back to a golden age and emulates it. Akhenaten's inspiration was the Old Kingdom (2650-2400 B.C.E.), when the sun-god Re/Atum ruled as the unrivaled head of the Egyptian pantheon. Hoffmeier finds that Akhenaten was a genuine convert to the worship of Aten, the sole creator God, based on the Pharoah's own testimony of a theophany, a divine encounter that launched his monotheistic religious odyssey. The book also explores the Atenist religion's possible relationship to Israel's religion, offering a close comparison of the hymn to the Aten to Psalm 104, which has been identified by scholars as influenced by the Egyptian hymn. Through a careful reading of key texts, artworks, and archaeological studies, Hoffmeier provides compelling new insights into a religion that predated Moses and Hebrew monotheism, the impact of Atenism on Egyptian religion and politics, and the aftermath of Akhenaten's reign. |
umrah guide in arabic: Arabic Conversation Guide Ali Hussein Sayed Ismail, The continuing demand for the learning and use of a second language reflects the intrinsically interconnected nature of the modern world; which fosters equality, reciprocity and above all, cultural exchanges using communication that both the relevant parties understand. In addition, the current demands of the L2 field dictate that any materials that are produced for it be creative and that they appeal to the actual needs of their target audiences. This edition of Arabic Conversation Guide does just that. By dedicating this edition to English speakers, Prof. Ali Ismail Alqaffaass attempts to bridge the gap between two very important world cultures and bring them together. Indeed, this is a world that is becoming increasingly globalized. In light of the many strong forces that would rather use globalization to dominate others, it is always refreshing when one sees very important, though marginalized, linguistic and cultural manifestations of globalization that only seek to promote understanding come to the surface. Arabic Conversation Guide’s creative features include its inclusion of classic and slang vocabularies of the language, both of which are used in the streets of the Arab world, thus making the book ideal for the L2 Arabic learner who wants to use the language in real-life contexts. The structures, the phrase constructions and the lexis that are presented are part of common linguistic expressions, which one would find useful for the common and basic needs whether in streets and public offices of Damascus, Cairo, Riyadh, or Beirut or even in L2 Arabic classrooms else where in the world. The book includes a pronunciation guide, which represents an added value as it makes it accessible both for individual study and reference purposes. This last feature is emphasized in the book when we find that Prof. Ali Ismail Alqaffaass decided to present linguistic content using a context-based approach, examples of which include situations involving introductions, greetings, making friends, transports, tourism, going to the restaurant, going to the market, among many others. I believe that the features outlined above make this edition of the Arabic Conversation Guide a resource book that all L2 Arabic learners will find useful. |

umrah guide in arabic: Indonesians and Their Arab World Mirjam Lücking, 2021-01-15 Indonesians and Their Arab World explores the ways contemporary Indonesians understand their relationship to the Arab world. Despite being home to the largest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia exists on the periphery of an Islamic world centered around the Arabian Peninsula. Mirjam Lücking approaches the problem of interpreting the current conservative turn in Indonesian Islam by considering the ways personal relationships, public discourse, and matters of religious self-understanding guide two groups of Indonesians who actually travel to the Arabian Peninsula—labor migrants and Mecca pilgrims—in becoming physically mobile and making their mobility meaningful. This concept, which Lücking calls guided mobility, reveals that changes in Indonesian Islamic traditions are grounded in domestic social constellations and calls claims of outward Arab influence in Indonesia into question. With three levels of comparison (urban and rural areas, Madura and Central Java, and migrants and pilgrims), this ethnographic case study foregrounds how different regional and socioeconomic contexts determine Indonesians' various engagements with the Arab world. |
