Rangkaian Listrik 1 hanya mempelajari komponen-komponen dan perhitungannya yang berhubungan dengan sumber DC. Sedangkan sumber dengan tegangan AC dipelajari dalam Rangkaian Listrik 2. Perbedaan yang mendasar dari keduanya hanya pada domain DC dan AC, karena domain AC memerlukan bilangan kompleks dalam perhitungannya.
