the supreme wisdom lessons: Knowledge of Self Supreme Understanding, Sunez Allah, C'BS Alife Allah, 2009-07-30 Do you know who - and what - you are? Do you know who you're meant to be? Do you know how to find the answers to questions like these? Knowledge of Self is the result of a process of self-discovery, but few of us know where to begin when we're ready to start looking deeper. Although self-actualization is the highest of all human needs, it is said that only 5% of people ever attain this goal. In the culture of the Nation of Gods and Earths, commonly known as the Five Percent, students are instructed that they must first learn themselves, then their worlds, and then what they must do in order to transform their world for the better. This often intense process has produced thousands of revolutionary thinkers in otherwise desperate environments, where poverty and hopelessness dominate. Until now, few mainstream publications have captured the brilliant yet practical perspectives of these luminary men and women. Knowledge of Self: A Collection of Writings on the Science of Everything in Life presents the thoughts of Five Percenters, both young and old, male and female, from all over the globe, in their own words. Through essays, poems, and even how-to articles, this anthology presents readers with an accurate portrait of what the Five Percent study and teach, as well as sound direction on how to answer timeless questions like: Who am I, and why am I here? Why is there so much injustice in the world, and what can be done about it? Who is God and where on Earth is he? How do I improve myself without losing myself? Why are people of color in the situations they're in? What can we do about the global problems of racism and poverty?

This is a book to keep by your bedside and return to often.”—Amy Dickinson, nationally syndicated advice columnist Ask Amy More than one thousand extraordinary Americans share their stories and the wisdom they have gained on living, loving, and finding happiness. After a chance encounter with an extraordinary ninety-year-old woman, renowned gerontologist Karl Pillemer began to wonder what older people know about life that the rest of us don't. His quest led him to interview more than one thousand Americans over the age of sixty-five to seek their counsel on all the big issues- children, marriage, money, career, aging. Their moving stories and uncompromisingly honest answers often surprised him. And he found that he consistently heard advice that pointed to these thirty lessons for living. Here he weaves their personal recollections of difficulties overcome and lives well lived into a timeless book filled with the hard-won advice these older Americans wish someone had given them when they were young. Like This I Believe, StoryCorps's Listening Is an Act of Love, and Tuesdays with Morrie, 30 Lessons for Living is a book to keep and to give.   the supreme wisdom lessons: The God Tribe of Shabazz – The True History Elijah Muhammad, Nasir Hakim, 2012-03-17 The history of the God Tribe of Shabazz is one of the most elusive subjects of the Supreme Wisdom as taught by Messenger Elijah Muhammad, partly because it is spread out over so much time, on so many lectures and in so many different articles. The Tribe of Shabazz is not simply the offspring of a group of people who were the product of a disgruntled scientist who went into Africa to prove that He could make a people that could withstand anything, but a continuum of a vein of expression characteristic of how we as black people, who, when in our natural mind did things that were still superior to the best minds of mankind today. We are so far from what is actually natural for the Blackman, that we think that the trial and error mode of operating of this civilization today is brilliance; when in fact, the incidental actions of the Original Blackman is considered SUPERNATUAL by today's standards. The Messenger of Allah, Elijah Muhammad, delves so far into the most profound depths of wisdom when sharing with us what our God, in person, Master Fard Muhammad, had revealed, it makes you wonder about who is out there dormant and simply waiting to hear that particular word, sentence, paragraph or perspective that will make the light in or above their heads illuminate with Allah's voice communicating with them. In other words, it's not necessary to be mining Facebook, Twitter or Google+, etc, for revelation. It's being handed to you here.
the supreme wisdom lessons: Leadership Lessons from the Bhagavad Gita Ace V. Simpson, 2024-09-18 For professionals grappling with the challenges of corporate life, Leadership Lessons from the Bhagavad Gita offers a transformative path to overcome self-defeating habits and silence the mind's negative chatter-often the greatest barrier to effective leadership. This book advocates for a leadership style rooted in compassion for followers, stakeholders, and future generations, paving the way for harmonious workplace relationships and environmental stewardship. Moving away from conventional leadership models based on control, it promotes leadership by inspiration. At a time when trust in leadership is waning, this book introduces the concept of linked-leadership-leaders who connect through loving connection or bhakti-yoga with themselves (through self-knowledge), others, nature, and the supreme source. Drawing on the example of Krishna guiding Arjuna's chariot, it redefines leadership as a commitment to service, excellence, and virtuous character, inspiring others to follow suit. Its unique insights help you understand different personality types, motivating individuals according to their nature, and building effective teams for a harmonious and prosperous organizational culture. Ultimately, this book challenges leaders to embrace unity and diversity, achieving sustainable well-being and happiness in their organizations.
the supreme wisdom lessons: Conversations with God for Teens Neale Donald Walsch, 2012-10-01 Suppose you could ask God any question and get an answer. What would it be? Young people all over the world have been asking those questions. So Neale Donald Walsch, author of the internationally bestselling Conversations with God series had another conversation. Conversations with God for Teens is a simple, clear, straight-to-the-point dialogue that answers teens questions about God, money, sex, love, and more. Conversations with God for Teens reads like a rap session at a church youth group, where teenagers discuss everything they ever wanted to know about life but were too afraid to ask God. Walsch acts as the verbal conduit, showing teenagers how easy it is to converse with the divine. When Claudia, age 16, from Perth, Australia, asks, Why can't I just have sex with everybody? What's the big deal?, the answer God offers her is: Nothing you do will ever be okay with everybody. 'Everybody' is a large word. The real question is can you have sex and have it be okay with you? There's no doubt that the casual question-and-answer format will help make God feel welcoming and accessible to teens. Conversations with God for Teens is the perfect gift purchase for parents, grandparents, and anyone else who wants to provide accessible spiritual content for the teen(s) in their lives.

the supreme wisdom lessons: Book of Yakub Rasheed Muhammad, 2013-04-22 According to the teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, the man Yakub lived 6,600 years ago in the holy land of the east. He lived to be 150 years of old. Yakub is hidden in the Christian Bible under the name Jacob. This man opposed the righteous government of his day. In the book of Genesis 32, the righteous government is symbolically hidden under the name angel. The ancient black people of Egypt referred to Yakub's people as Sea People. The Christian bible symbolically hid Yakub's made man or white race or people under the name Caphtorites coming out from Caphtor (Crete). These people entered parts of the holy land thousands of years ago to destroy it. [Deutoromny 2:23] And as for the Avvites who lived in villages as far as Gaza, the Caphtorites coming out from Caphtor destroyed them and settled in their place. Mr. Yakub was a scientist or god. The vile world government structure we live under today is rooted in his idea or literature or writings he prepared 6,600 years ago. Prophet Moses (Musa) also taught to Yakub's people, 4,000 years ago, various parts that they had forgotten. Yakub understood the genetic (gene) nature of self and/or the original black nation. The word gene is often used to refer to our hereditary human traits. In genetics, these traits are either PP-black dominant, Bp-brown, red, yellow incomplete dominance or aa-wrinkle (pale) recessive. Therefore, a white race was made based upon the number six (i.e., 6 variations of the gene combinations), through the act of sex or breeding the incomplete dominance into its final recessive trait. By this knowledge, he (Yakub) was successful in making a new race of people 6,000 ago called the white race. The warning book Yakub prepared for his race that they may see their day of Judgement contains 403 verses and 22 chapters i.e., Bible Book of Revelations. Brother Malcolm X once said, I know its hard to believe....but, it true. (Smile)
