the zodiac and the salts of salvation: The Zodiac and the Salts of Salvation George W Carey, Inez Eudora Perry, 1932 This classic manual explains the connections between astrology, alchemy and the appearance of salts in the body's cells. George Carey and Inez Eudora Perry offer illuminating insights into the history and milestones of astrology in the context of cellular chemistry. Thousands of years ago, the writings of Ancient Greek scholars such as Hippocrates marked the early appearance of astrology in the context of examining the body's composition. The use of this knowledge advanced over centuries, with examples of this evolution in understanding given through the book's chapters. This book consists of two volumes, which are united in this edition. The first volume consists of short summarizing examinations of the various zodiac signs, explaining their significance. The second volume embarks on detailing the links between the astrological signs and the chemical compositions of the bodily salts. A series of analytical discussions of these syntheses is given, that the reader may fully comprehend their intricacy and depth.

It is organized in such a way that one can use the book for quick and easy reference, and it eliminates the need to search through various other volumes. In four parts: an alphabetical listing, a listing by planets, a listing by signs, a listing by houses. Plus an Appendix with special listings: principal bones of the body, principal veins of the body, chart of an organization, flavors and handwriting forms. Enthusiastically endorsed and used by professionals and students alike, no reference library is complete without this best-selling volume.

the zodiac and the salts of salvation: The Zodiac and the Salts of Salvation George Washington, 1996 After digesting the material presented by Carey and Perry, readers will have a new understanding of basic homeopathic principles as well as being able to tie various homeopathic remedies to the sun signs. Once this is understood, it is reasonable that the position of the moon and ascendant in the natal chart, and even the position of Saturn, may well be indicators of homeopathic remedies that are needed by the physical body. For example, when an Aries is too quick to anger perhaps a regular does of kali phosphate may even out the temper. Or, when Virgo is beginning to feel digestive problems, kali sulphate may help balance out the minerals in the body. Nothing beats going to the doctor when needing a diagnosis. However, knowing the basics of homeopathy can also be likened to keeping a first aid kit in the house. In Part I, Dr. Carey relates the parts of the body to the biochemical cell-salts (homeopathic remedies) that were espoused by Dr. Schuessler. Part II, by Inez Perry, enlarges upon the symbolism of the sun types and the basics about the homeopathic remedies. She discusses the 12 sign types in relation to Biblical symbolism, and also combines information from the Kabbalah, masonic texts, eastern and western philosophy, to trace the spiritual symbolism of the signs. She then shows how the 12 basic biochemical remedies work with the sign types. According to Carey and Perry, astrology deals with the body (anatomy) of the Grand Man (the universe), and by analogy, with the human body as it relates to astrological symbolism. The authors bring back to contemporary astrology students the ancient symbolism that was once common knowledge to astrologers.

the zodiac and the salts of salvation: Thinking And Destiny Harold W. Percival, 2002-04 In Thinking and Destiny, something new, although older than time, is now made known to the world--about Consciousness. The information is largely about the makeup of the human, where man comes from, what becomes of him; it explains what thinking is; it tells how a thought is created, and how thoughts are exteriorized into acts, objects and events, and how they make his destiny. Destiny is thus shown to be self-determined by thinking; and the process of re-existence and the after-death states are told in detail. A single reading of any one chapter of Thinking and Destiny brings rich rewards in new understanding of life`s puzzling mysteries. To read the entire book is to come nearer to knowledge of one`s destiny and how to shape it than is possible through study of anything previously written in the English language. Both the casually curious glancer at books and the most avid seeker for knowledge will be intrigued by the index, which lists more than 400 subjects in Thinking and Destiny, and by the fifteen chapter headings in the Table of Contents, which identify the 156 sections. The Foreword contains the only pages in which Mr. Percival uses the first personal pronoun. Here he relates some of the amazing experiences through which he was able to grasp the knowledge he transmits, and to acquire the ability to do so.

the zodiac and the salts of salvation: The Astrology of Death Richard Houck, 1994 THE ASTROLOGY OF DEATH is very unique, first because it is the ONLY astrology book in history, in either the Eastern or Western world, to focus, totally & unequivocally, upon the manner & timing of death. THE ASTROLOGY OF DEATH reviews over 100 case studies of the famous, notorious & obscure to build the argument for the author's discoveries. Second, it introduces unique & unknown methods from Hindu astrology & synthesizes these methods with some equally obscure Western techniques. In support of this, THE ASTROLOGY OF DEATH further provides a previously unavailable glossary of over 1,700 words used in Hindu astrology classics. Over 15 chapters are dedicated to topics such as: murder, suicide, assassination, methods of longevity calculation, why death is sometimes escaped, karmic death links & much more. The author provides a powerful resume proving that he is already one of the most respected astrologers in the country. This is confirmed in the glowing five-page foreword written by James Braha (who has himself written four astrological books including two world-wide best-sellers). Although technical & sophisticated, THE ASTROLOGY OF DEATH is packed with clever commentary, cartoons & over 20 beautiful, death-related collages custom prepared from 19th-century wood engravings.   the zodiac and the salts of salvation: The Intelligence of the Cell Salts That Build the Human Body and the Plant George W. Carey, 2014-02 2014 Reprint of 1920s Edition. Full facsimile of the original edition. Undated short pamphlet by Carey printed in the 1920s. George Washington Carey (1845-1924) was an American physician known for his 'chemistry of life' publications, a subject which he referred to as biochemistry. Carey combined a mixture of religion, astrology, physiology, anatomy, and chemistry, themed particularly with a mineral-based theory of human disease to explain his views on human chemistry. He continues to be popular within new-age and homeopathic circles. In the context of a person viewed as a human molecule, Carey was the first to state that a person's body is a chemical formula in operation. This very short essay is a statement of the principles of his philosophy of the cell salts.
the zodiac and the salts of salvation: Water of Life John W. Armstrong, 2000 In this revolutionary treatise, J.W. Armstrong puts the compelling case that all diseases (except those caused by traumatism or structural disorders) can be cured by one simple means. The therapy is an entirely drugless system of healing that treats the body as a whole. Moreover, the only ingredient needed is a substance manufactured in the body itself, rich in mineral salts, hormones and other vital substances, namely human urine. It may seem strange to take back into the body something that the body is apparently discarding. Yet the theory is similar to the natural practice of organic composting. Fallen leaves, when dug back into the soil, provide valuable mineral salts to nourish new plant life. The same principle holds true for the human body.

the zodiac and the salts of salvation: The Science of the Sacred Secretion: The Chemical, Physiological and Astronomical Explanation of Internal Alchemy. Victoria Loalou, 2018-08-09 The Sacred Secretion, also called 'Chrism', 'Christ Oil' and 'The Honey And Milk', is the title given to the body's natural spiritual rhythm. During the monthly cycle, when lunar energy empowers the starsign energy that clothed you at birth, the brain releases a brew of chemicals. The psychedelic concoction travels down the spine's 33 vertebrate before rising up again. The secretion's increases its vibrational potency throughout the process, changing in and out of form. Finally, after being preserved in an alkaline body, the secretion is released, enhancing the senses of the individual and raising their conscious awareness. This is the true meaning behind the original story of Jesus (a fairy tale of the 'Sun', not the 'Son) who, at 33, rose again and returned to higher realms of being. Therefore, the Sacred Secretion is a spiritual journey. 'The Science Of The Sacred Secretion' is a consise comprehension of the research and philosophies underpinning the Sacred Secretion, the power of the Pineal Gland and effects of our unique Biorhythms. Each chapter details the connection between the physiological, chemical and astronomical alchemy of the body, revealing the correlations between our physical selves and the cosmos (As above, so below). Translation, presentation, comparison with Judaica, and occasional comments are all designed with that end in view. Materials are included from the Pseudepigrapha (together with Philo and Josephus), discoveries related to Qumran, and Rabbinic Literature (inclusive of the Targumim).   the zodiac and the salts of salvation: The Anti-Christ George Carey, 2023-04-26 The Anti-Christ is a short collection of writings by Dr. George W. Carey. This compilation includes The Anti-Christ (1918), a brief essay by Dr. Carey, and selected chapters from God-Man: The Word Made Flesh (1920). These selections explain how the common interpretation of the Scriptures is far afield from what was intended. They explore how the original meaning of the Biblical texts was deliberately skewed and obfuscated by the Roman Emperor Constantine and the council of Nicaea, convened in 325 AD. George Washington Carey (1845-1924) was an American occultist, homeopath, and writer. He combined religion, astrology, chemistry, and a laser focus on original texts to extrapolate what he believed was the true meaning of the life of Christ, the true nature of the human body, and the true nature of humanity. Dr. Carey's most well-known principles were in what he termed biochemistry. This discipline was built on the cell-salt theory by Dr. Wilhelm Heinrich Schüßler, who held that bodily deficiencies in 12 naturally occurring minerals caused myriad diseases. And by supplementing them, one could cure their ailments. Dr. Carey combined some of Dr. Schüßler's theories with his own views on the importance of the signs of the zodiac, positing that one's sun sign may impact which cell-salts will be most effective for each individual. There are still homeopathic practitioners today who use cell-salts to treat their patients. Inside this volume, you will find: ● The Anti-Christ (1918) ● The Kingdom at Hand (from God-Man: The Word Made Flesh) ● The Anti-Christ (from God-Man: The Word Made Flesh, a reprint of The Anti-Christ tract of 1918 with minor modifications) ● What So Called Christians Say, and the Answer Combined, these works explore the original truth as known by the earliest Christians-that the stories in the original Scriptures were allegories, parables or fables based on the human body 'fearfully and wonderfully made.' According to Carey and Perry, the parables in the Bible were not records of historical fact. Instead, they were used to describe the human body as a microcosm of the universe. And Christ is not a Divine Man sent to save us, but rather exists within us all. Drawing on the source language in Hebrew and Greek rather than the many translations and mistranslations, the authors show that the original intent of the words of the Biblical texts was to explore what is within us, rather than what is outside of us. And how was this truth hidden from us? The Roman Emperor Constantine-the anti-Christ-convened the council of Nicaea to vote on the true meaning of the scriptures. And he pushed the council to make salvation a simple matter of belief as a means for quieting his own fears for his soul.

the zodiac and the salts of salvation: Facial Diagnosis of Cell Salt Deficiencies David Card, 2020-05-15 The condition of facial skin is a primary indicator of overall bodily health. Deficiencies in diet and metabolism, together with disease conditions, are easily observed in the face, if one knows what to look for. This book is about how to “read the face” to determine which essential cell salts (also known as tissue salts) are lacking in the body. When a diagnosis is determined, the patient can then remedy that condition by supplementing with the proper cell-salt. Cell salts (tissue salts) exist in every human body. These are the inorganic biochemical elements found in the blood and tissues. They are the builders and the catalysts for many essential processes. For example, most people may have heard of potassium chloride, but few realize that it is a tissue salt (cell salt) essential to the digestive process. This salt unites with hydrogen to form HCL (hydrochloric acid), aids in the production of bile, serves as an alkalizer, and helps in digestive enzyme formation. Therefore, it is a dynamic component of health. Twelve cell salts were identified in the 1850s by European scientists, and this knowledge was soon added to the materia medica of physicians and practitioners throughout Europe. Today, homeopathic practitioners and naturopathic doctors in the United States and other countries are beginning to revive the use of cell salt supplementation in successfully treating a spectrum of disease conditions. This book instructs the practitioner, or the patient, in: How to Read the Face: This book, complete with illustrations, guides the practitioner in what to look for in the face. Such cues as skin color, condition of eyebrows, size and color of lips, musculature of the face, blemishes and inflammations, the circles around or under the eyes, and many other characteristics, betray the excesses and deficiencies at work in the body. How to Use Cell Salts: Detailed explanations are given to each of the twelve cell salts, which interestingly correspond to the twelve signs of the zodiac. Extensive lists are supplied of various disease or imbalance conditions that can be helped by cell salt supplementation.

the zodiac and the salts of salvation: Confusion de Confusiones [1688] Jose De La Vega, 2013-07 2013 Reprint of 1957 Edition. Full facsimile of the original edition, not reproduced with Optical Recognition Software. Joseph Penso de la Vega, best known as Joseph de la Vega (ca.1650-1692), was a successful Jewish merchant, poet, and philanthropist residing in 17th century Amsterdam. He became famous for his masterpiece Confusion of Confusions the oldest book ever written on the stock exchange business. Although not a descriptive account of the process of stock trading, Penso presented the history of speculation in stocks and acquainted the reader with the sophisticated financial instruments used. The dialogue format allowed the reader to understand the respective perspectives of the various market participants and the intricacies of speculation and trading. Penso also came up with four basic rules of the share market that are still of the greatest relevance today: The first rule in speculation is: Never advise anyone to buy or sell shares. Where guessing correctly is a form of witchcraft, counsel cannot be put on airs. The second rule: Accept both your profits and regrets. It is best to seize what comes to hand when it comes, and not expect that your good fortune and the favorable circumstances will last. The third rule: Profit in the share market is goblin treasure: at one moment, it is carbuncles, the next it is coal; one moment diamonds, and the next pebbles. Sometimes, they are the tears that Aurora leaves on the sweet morning's grass, at other times, they are just tears. The fourth rule: He who wishes to become rich from this game must have both money and patience. Includes Foreword by Hermann Kellenbenz.
