Six papers (Spanu, Townsend, Giobbe, Hoff, Winterstein, and Wandsnider) publish work on Roman architecture: architectural decoration, council houses, Roman temples, bath architecture, cenotaph, and public buildings. We introduced our project works through the eTwinning portal in order to bring our children's dream worlds together with children from different cultures and distant countries. When we made the announcement with the title of A Day in Another Planet, we received numerous offers from many schools. We selected our partner schools carefully to provide a colorful project with students from different cultures and languages. With the support of participating schools from Portugal, Serbia, Italy, North Macedonia, Poland and Spain; our students met with each other many times by online meetings apps with the organisation of Ali Tekinsoy Secondary School in Turkey. We begin to dream by saying Dreams become real when dreamed together and hundreds of children from seven countries shared the same dream with us. We eventually built a shinning sky where 77 short stories in 7 languages spread their light. The numbers are just numbers; the important thing is the glow it provides us. We met with creative teachers and students from different countries; we spent days and nights to create a literal work. Our students wrote short stories, drew pictures, introduced their countries, exhibited their works, used different Web 2.0 tools, prepared games and sang songs together. Participants from distant countries became closer through these works. We felt the excitement and happiness of our children when we looked into their eyes how different and exciting it was for our students to talk, communicate and share their feelings and works with the peers from different countries. In this process, besides the experience of our students in English language proficiency, they also went on an intercultural journey. When you turn pages of this book, I'm sure you will find unique stories that show dream worlds built by the students from seven different languages and cultures. Most of authors can’t have the distinct honor of translation their stories into different languages. So we had the chance to meet the great authors, whose first short stories were translated into two foreign languages, at the beginning of their journey to create new worlds that would change our world. While we were designing this project, what I was most curious about was to compare dream worlds of students studying in Turkey with the students from other European countries and observe the impact of different educational and cultural background on imagination, creativity and originality. When you began to journey by holding this unique work in your hands, I'm sure our children's dream worlds will immerse you too and will feel their feelings inside you.
