Spelling success is guaranteed since the rhyming words use the same spelling patterns. The minibooks are organized from easiest to most difficult. The easiest books use only the most basic sight words plus illustrated rhyming words. In the first eleven books, students write the rhyming word in the blank on each page. In the last four books, students write both rhyming words in the blanks. In all the books, the text follows a repetitive pattern that is easy for children to learn to read.
