oak island nova scotia knights templar: The Lost Treasure of the Knights Templar Steven Sora, 1999-02-01 A compelling argument that connects the lost treasure of the Knights Templar to the mysterious money pit on Oak Island, Nova Scotia, that has baffled treasure hunters for two centuries • Fascinating occult detective work linking the Cathars, the Scottish Masons, and Renne-le-Chateau to the elusive treasure pit on Oak Island • Draws on new evidence recently unearthed in Italy, France, and Scotland to provide a compelling solution to one of the world's most enduring mysteries When the Order of Knights Templar was ruthlessly dissolved in 1307 by King Philip the Fair of France it possessed immense wealth and political power, yet none of the treasure the Templars amassed has ever been found. Their treasure is rumored to contain artifacts of spiritual significance retrieved by the order during the Crusades, including the genealogies of David and Jesus and documents that trace these bloodlines into the royal bloodlines of Merovingian France. Placing a Scottish presence in the New World a century before Columbus, Steven Sora paints a credible scenario that the Sinclair clan of Scotland transported the wealth of the Templars--entrusted to them as the Masonic heirs of the order--to a remote island off the shores of present-day Nova Scotia. The mysterious money pit there is commonly believed to have been built before 1497 and has guarded its secret contents tenaciously despite two centuries of determined efforts to unearth it. All of these efforts (one even financed by American president Franklin Delano Roosevelt) have failed, thanks to an elaborate system of booby traps, false beaches, hidden drains, and other hazards of remarkable ingenuity and technological complexity. |
oak island nova scotia knights templar: Oak Island And The Mayflower James a McQuiston Fsasct, 2020-10-11 In his sixth book on the Oak Island, Nova Scotia, mystery, James McQuiston has discovered some remarkable links of people associated with the arrival of the ship Mayflower, in 1620, to some of the more famous and recognizable names of those who settled or hunted for treasure on Oak Island. Nova Scotia was founded expressly to protect the Plymouth Colony and the colonies shared many of the same families, and to some degree, the same early history. The fact that Mayflower related families connect to Oak Island strongly supports McQuiston's theory that Sir William Alexander, a patentee of the Plymouth Colony, and the founder of Nova Scotia, had something significant to do with the beginning of the Oak Island mystery. This theory has ranked as #6 out of the top 25 with the current searcher for treasure on Oak Island. The family connections found by McQuiston are detailed and very significant in understanding this 225-year-old treasure hunt on Oak Island, as well as the history of the Mayflower descendants, and others who settled in the general area of Plymouth, Massachusetts. |
oak island nova scotia knights templar: Oak Island Knights James McQuiston, James a McQuiston Fsasco, 2018-08-19 This is the author's third book on the Oak Island, Nova Scotia mystery, and it may be a mystery no more. James A. McQuiston, a fellow with the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, has poured over reams of ancient books and papers to uncover a stolen treasure from Scotland, and how that treasure just might have been buried on Oak Island until it could be used to finance a new kingdom called Nova Scotia. Due to several circumstances, that day never came. McQuiston presented his theories to the current searchers on Oak Island and was very well received. He even appeared on the Curse of Oak Island TV show. This is one book you must read if you have any interest in this 223-year-old mystery. |

oak island nova scotia knights templar: The Knights Templar in the New World William F. Mann, 2004-03-03 Uses the principles of sacred geometry, archaeological evidence, and Native American legend to discover the site of a secret Templar settlement in Nova Scotia • Offers evidence that Scottish prince Henry Sinclair not only sailed to the New World 100 years before Columbus, but that he also established a refuge there for the Templars fleeing persecution • Shows that the Grail, the holy bloodline connecting the House of David to the Merovingian dynasty through Jesus and Mary Magdalene, was hidden in the New World In 1398, almost 100 years before Columbus arrived in the New World, the Scottish prince Henry Sinclair, Earl of Orkney, sailed to what is today Nova Scotia, where his presence was recorded by Micmac Indian legends about Glooskap. This was the same Prince Henry Sinclair who offered refuge to the Knights Templar fleeing the persecution unleashed against the order by French king Philip the Fair at the beginning of the 14th century. With evidence from archaeological sites, indigenous legend, and sacred geometry handed down by the Templar order to the Freemasons, author William F. Mann has now rediscovered the site of the settlement established by Sinclair and his Templar followers in the New World. Here they found a safe refuge for the Grail--the holy bloodline connecting the House of David to the Merovingian Dynasty through the descendants of Jesus and Mary Magdalene--until the British exiled all the Acadians in 1755. |

oak island nova scotia knights templar: The Secret Dossier of a Knight Templar of the Sangreal Gretchen L. Cornwall, 2019-05-22 Author Gretchen Cornwall was contacted by a leading member of the Order whilst researching the history of the Templars in England. Comte de Mattinata de Medici, Knight of the Lion, revealed his family history and that of the Knights Templar in a series of meetings which became the Secret Dossier. The Comte's ancestor fled to England in the 17th century from France, his story recorded in fiction by Alexander Dumas. The Man in the Iron Mask was initiated by the English Templars of Cumbria and his family passed down their secrets to the present. The wild breadth of information reaches from King Arthur in Cumbria, the bloodline of Mary Magdalene & Jesus to new observations on Bernard de Clairvaux the man who put swords in the hands of Cistercian monks. How did the Templars survive? Are the Free Masons their inheritors? Did they inherit ancient technology that they used to navigate the Atlantic and escape to North America and other undisclosed safe harbours in Britain? The Comte gifted the author with an energetic map of the world which correlates with the Ordnance Survey National Grid of Great Britain and includes historic and modern Templar sites! This in itself is a mathematical impossibility. Ley Lines are a popular way to explore the energetic veins of the earth but this is the first time in history that the dragon energy of the earth has been found to correlate to England's famous and mathematically exacting map system. The Matrix Map of the World is explored in great detail through the lens of Quantum Physics. It is a portal to understanding the ethos behind the current generation of Knights Templar and a wide angle lens as to their thoughts on the future of humanity--Amazon.com. |

oak island nova scotia knights templar: Jesse James and the Lost Templar Treasure Daniel J. Duke, 2019-07-09 An investigation into the lost treasures of Jesse James and the Freemasons and their connections to the Templars, Rosicrucians, and the Founding Fathers • Explains how Jesse James used techniques involving sacred geometry, gematria, and esoteric symbols to hide his treasures and encode maps • Provides instructions for using the encoding template employed by Jesse James and the Freemasons to hide and recover treasure and sacred relics • Shows how the encoding template confirms the existence of treasures on Oak Island and Victorio Peak and can be traced to a 16th-century book containing a secret map of the New World and the “hooked X” of the Knights Templar Jesse James left behind secret diaries and coded treasure maps. Working to decrypt these maps, Daniel J. Duke--the great-great-grandson of Jesse James--reveals hidden treasures yet to be recovered as well as connections between the infamous train robber and Freemasonry, the Knights Templar, the Founding Fathers, and Jewish mysticism. The author explains how Jesse James faked his death and lived out his final years under the name James L. Courtney. He uncovers James’ affiliation with the Knights of the Golden Circle, a secret society that buried Confederate gold across the United States, and shows how the hidden treasures coded into James’ maps were not affiliated with the KGC but with the Freemasons, the Knights Templar, and the treasure of the Temple Mount. Using sacred geometry, gematria, and the Kabbalistic Tree of Life symbol, the author explains the encoded map technique used by the Freemasons to hide and later recover treasures, an esoteric template known as the “Veil”. He shows how the Veil template confirms the locations of Jesse James’ recovered treasures in Texas as well as other suspected treasure locations, such as the Oak Island Money Pit and Victorio Peak in New Mexico. Tracing knowledge of the Veil template back through the centuries, the author reveals the Veil hidden on the cover of a 16th-century book that contains a secret map of the New World and the “hooked X” symbol of the Knights Templar. He shows how the template was used not only to hide treasures but also sacred knowledge and relics, such as within the Bruton Vault, which originally contained secrets tied to Francis Bacon, the Freemasons, the Rosicrucians, and the founding of the United States. Applying the Veil template alongside the esoteric secrets of Poussin’s famous painting, Et In Arcadia Ego, and Cassini’s Celestial Globe, Duke shows how the template reveals other Templar and Freemason treasure sites scattered throughout America and around the world. |
oak island nova scotia knights templar: Templar Sanctuaries in North America William F. Mann, 2016-05-17 Traces the movement of the Templars’ secret treasure across North America to where it still resides, protected by a sacred lineage of guardians • Explains how the Templars found refuge with Native American tribes, intermarrying with the Natives to continue the Holy Bloodline and further the lineage of guardians needed to protect their treasure and secrets • Reveals new evidence for the existence of Templar settlements and monuments across North America and how these reactivate the continent’s sacred rose lines • Pinpoints the exact location of the Templar/Holy Bloodline treasure Many have searched for the lost treasure of the Knights Templar, most famously at Oak Island. But what if the treasure wasn’t lost? What if this treasure--necessary to sanctify the Temple of Solomon and create a New Jerusalem--was moved through the centuries and protected by a sacred lineage of guardians, descendants of Prince Henry Sinclair and the Native American tribes who helped him? Drawing on his access as Grand Archivist of the Knights Templar of Canada and his own role as a descendant of both Sinclair and the Anishinabe/Algonquin tribe, William Mann examines new evidence of the Knights Templar in the New World long before Columbus and their mission to protect the Holy Bloodline of Jesus and Mary Magdalene. He reveals the secret settlements they built as they moved westward across the vast wilderness of North America, evading the European Church and Royal Houses. He explains how the Templars found refuge in the Sacred Medicine Lodges of the Algonquins, whose ceremonies and rituals bear striking resemblance to the initiations of Freemasonry. He reveals the strategic intermarriages that took place between the Natives and the Templars, furthering the Holy Bloodline and continuing the lineage of blood-guardians. The author explores how Sinclair’s journey from Nova Scotia across America also served to reactivate the sacred rose lines of North America through the building of “rose castles” and monuments, including the Newport Tower and the Kensington Rune Stone. Pinpointing the exact location of the Templar treasure still hidden in North America, the author also reveals the search for Templar sanctuaries to be the chief motivation behind the Lewis and Clark expedition and the murder of Meriwether Lewis. |
oak island nova scotia knights templar: Oak Island James a McQuiston Fsasct, 2016-03-11 Oak Island: Missing Links debunks the naysayers who insist on discounting the age old legend of Scottish sailors coming to Oak Island long before Christopher Columbus discovered America, proving that it could be done, easily and often, that there were many early links of Scotsmen to Nova Scotia, and that there were many links of these same Scots families to Knights Templar and Masonic legends. It also provides logical explanations for the Mi'kmaq First Nations' traditions of a man-god named Glooscap, and his brother Malsum, and also for an Italian tradition which includes the name Zichmini, and a land called Estotiland. Rather than the centuries of doubt these four names have cast on a voyage of Sir Henry Sinclair to Nova Scotia, in 1398, these new theories actually strongly support this voyage. Author James. A McQuiston is not only a Fellow with the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland (est. 1780), but his Scottish family holds what is believed to be the premier Baronetcy of Nova Scotia dating back to 1625. These never-before explored theories shed some serious light on the subject of Oak Island, Nova Scotia. |
oak island nova scotia knights templar: The Templar Quest to North America Gretchen Cornwall, 2019-10-13 A Templar Cross was discovered in a forest in Wisconsin. The Mohican Reservation now holds the remains of a lost Knight Templar settlement. Controversial? Yes! The mystery of the forest holds a Templar Tomb, effigy and the foundation stones of a castle! Columbus could have only known of North America due to his predecessors, the Vikings and their descendants, the Knights Templar I believe that the anomalies of history are worth investigating. Rather than sweeping them under a carpet to preserve the status quo, oddities should be regarded as mounting evidence for a historical course correction, an opportunity to deepen our understanding of who we are and our origins It is far too simplistic to walk past an object, architectural feature or an odd local legend as being circumstantial. Dig just below the surface, and narrow, dull threads turn into golden ropes of probabilities... I have long been a proponent of Templar missions to North America. I was approached in July of 2018 with a photograph of a rock carving that had every earmark of being medieval Templar graffiti. I knew I had to jump in with both feet and find out all that was possible about his mysterious discovery. The photo had been taken deep within a Wisconsin forest! In the summer of 2018, I was sent photos that would lead me to the now Tribal lands of the Mohicans where a great secret had been waiting for hundreds of years. The initial photo was of a Templar Cross Pattée via Facebook Messenger. I nearly fell out of my chair. It was credible and the individual who sent them had such an integrous background as to be the stuff of movies! Wayne Murphy, a retired police officer and Tribal Elder of the Mohicans, was not given to flights of fancy. I had to visit the location myself and meet the man who found the carving to verify the discovery but found so much more, exceeding my expectations of the site. I determined that I may have been standing on the grounds of a lost Templar settlement near Lake Michigan, deep in the woods on the Mohican Reservation. I was given permission to photography & explore the Reservation as long as I was accompanied by Tribal Elder, Wayne Murphy. The growing realization of what had been achieved in such a dangerous voyage and inland exploration by Templars could only mean that they had Native American allies. The site was not just a random carving but the beginnings of what I believed could be an actual Templar relay fortress for the purpose of a westward push and a sustained return. It is a link in a chain from Oak Island Nova Scotia. I had the privilege of being in the War Room of the Curse of Oak Island, virtually, in Season Six, Episode Six 2018. The dramatic history of the Templars rise and fall has become familiar. The infamous date of October 13th, 1307. A day that shocked Europe and gave us the folklore of bad luck down the centuries, known as Friday the 13th. Did they survive? Where did they go? What were their hopes and dreams for the future? I believe the investigation held within the pages of this book answers many of these questions. They were arrested en masse in 1307 and imprisoned for several further years. They lost their Grand Master and two of his senior officers in a horrific execution in 1314, ending the public face of the tough, skillful and most mysterious Chivalrous Order in Europe. The courage of Jacques de Molay at his execution by fire had to leave an indelible mark on the minds of those who survived. This investigation is one avenue of inquiry as to what happened to the survivors. |

The discovery of evidence of the most secret rites of Freemasonry in an ancient Egyptian tomb led authors Chris Knight and Bob Lomas into and extraordinary investigation of 4, 000 years of history. This astonishing bestseller raises questions that have challenged some of Western civilisation's most cherished beliefs: Were scrolls bearing the secret teachings of Jesus buried beneath Herod's Temple shortly before the destruction of Jerusalem by the Roman's? Did the Knights Templar, the forerunners of modern Freemasonry, excavate these scrolls in the twelfth century? And were these scrolls subsequently buried underneath a reconstruction of Herod's Temple, Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland - where they are now awaiting excavation? The authors' discoveries shed a new light on Masonic ceremony and overturn out understanding of history. |

oak island nova scotia knights templar: Oak Island and its Lost Treasure Graham Harris, Les MacPhie, 2019-05-07 Oak Island poses two different challenges for these treasure seekers. First, there is a deep mine shaft — the Money Pit — at the bottom of which the treasure lies. This book offers evidence that this treasure came from the wreck of a seventeenth-century Spanish galleon. Then there is the elaborate flood tunnel which links the mine shaft to the ocean. Construction on this tunnel would have been complex and expensive, requiring a labour force of over 100 men, and it would have taken almost two years to complete. Discover the previously untold story of the British military who commanded this labour force in building the underground structure. The island's Money Pit and the tunnel, combined with adverse geological conditions, have ensured that all efforts to uncover the treasure have been unsuccessful to this day. Civil engineers Graham Harris and Les MacPhie spent over a decade investigating the enigma of Nova Scotia's Oak Island. In this book, they draw on the documentary record to present a compelling and historically accurate description of two centuries of treasure hunting on Oak Island. |

oak island nova scotia knights templar: Templars in America Tim Wallace-Murphy, Marilyn Hopkins, 2023-06-05 “This book is a must-read for anyone wanting to understand the true history of the founding of the most powerful nation on earth.” —Scott Wolter, host of America Unearthed and author of Cryptic Code of the Templars in America Using archival and archaeological sources, two historians reveal the hidden history of the Knights Templar and their travels to pre-Columbian America . . . and their influence on the Founding Fathers. Templars in America reveals the story of two leading European Templar families who combined forces to create a new commonwealth in America nearly a century before the voyages of Christopher Columbus. Henry St. Clair of the Orkney Islands, then part of Normandy, and Carlo Zeno, a Venetian trader, made peaceful and mutually beneficial contact with the Mi’qmaq people of what is now Canada. Proof of their travels is carved in stone on both sides of the Atlantic and can be found in documentary evidence borne out by a strong oral tradition that has withstood the test of time. Historians Tim Wallace-Murphy and Marilyn Hopkins demonstrate how this early contact with the Americas ties into the centuries-long development of the Templars and Freemasonry, which in turn shaped the thinking of the Founding Fathers—and the American Constitution. Wallace-Murphy and Hopkins also reveal the continuous history of American exploration from the time of ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome, through the age of the Vikings. Templars in America is a wild ride from the golden age of exploration to the founding of the United States. |

Together, the direct, forceful twelfth-century Graenlendinga Saga and the more polished and scholarly Eirik’s Saga, written some hundred years later, recount how Eirik the Red founded an Icelandic colony in Greenland and how his son, Leif the Lucky, later sailed south to explore – and if possible exploit – the chance discovery by Bjarni Herjolfsson of an unknown land. In spare and vigorous prose they record Europe’s first surprise glimpse of the eastern shores of the North American continent and the natives who inhabited them. |
oak island nova scotia knights templar: The Destruction of Sodom Graham J Harris, 2015-11-26 In The Destruction of Sodom, the Biblical account of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah is examined under the spotlight of modern science against a cultural backdrop of history and archaeology. In this scientific reconstruction, the account of events described in the book of Genesis is verified and it is established that the destruction occurred at about 2350 BC as a result of an earthquake-induced landslide transporting Sodom to the depths of the Dead Sea. Strands of geography, geology, andengineering science are drawn together to provide comprehensive treatment of all relevant scientific aspects pertinent to a rational understanding of the mechanics of the disaster. The detailed scientific argument follows a discussion of the Genesisaccount and considerations of Canaanite culture and commerce, with specific attention to the trade in bitumen. On this point, Graham Harris provides evidence that the mainstay of Canaanite commerce was the exploitation of the bitumen resources of the Dead Sea, that the Sodomites were among the world's first chemical engineers, and from the resources of the region a large number of processed materials also would have been exported to Egypt. The Destruction of Sodom is an example of the application of science to a fuller understanding of one of the most intriguing events of the Old Testament, and will be of direct interest to scholars as well as to the wider public. |

oak island nova scotia knights templar: The Templar Pirates Ernesto Frers, 2007-01-31 The maritime history of the Knights Templar following the Church’s attempt to expunge them in southern France • Shows that the pirates of legend originated with the Knights Templar’s secret navy • Reveals the Templars’ secret objective to establish a new universal order based on spirituality, wisdom, and individualism--the New Jerusalem • Examines the secret history of the Templars’ influence in international politics When the Vatican condemned the Order of the Temple in 1312, many of those who escaped took to the sea. Their immediate objective was to take revenge on the Church. Recent discoveries confirm that ships of the Templar fleet that went missing at La Rochelle later reappeared--first in the Mediterranean and later in the Atlantic and Caribbean--to menace the Church’s maritime commerce. These Templar vessels often flew the famed Jolly Roger, which took its name from King Roger II of Sicily, a famed Templar who, during a public spat with the Pope in 1127, was the first to fly this flag. Opportunistic buccaneers were quick to see that vast wealth could be gained in pursuing the Templars’ harassment of the Pope’s interests on the high seas, and they spread a reign of terror across the shipping lanes of the New World. Some unaffiliated pirates, in admiration of the Templar egalitarian ideals, even formed their own secret societies, and together with the Templars were part of the ferment that gave rise to independence movements in France and the New World and contributed to the growth of Freemasonry. The Templar Pirates is the story of the birth and actual conduct of piracy on the seas of the New World and of the influence the Templars had on their constituents, and, by their wealth, on the governments of nations old and new. |

For over two and one third decades, searchers have been looking in the wrong place never stopping to study the actual clues left by the Knights Templar. The book will lead you step-by-step to the solution as you unravel the mystery revealing the WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHY, WHEN to unlock the secret. You just need the KEY! A non-fiction mathematical treatise following the scientific method that proposes a completely new theory called the Impossible Coincidence Theory and an unambiguous location for the solution to the Oak Island Nova Scotia mystery. The book uses previous unknown geometry and mathematics to solve the mystery by solving all the known ciphers, including the mysterious 90 Foot Stone Cipher, all to the exact same spot on the island. The book outlines how the Knights Templar, described as the original architects, used the island itself with megalithic boulders, a mysterious Stone Triangle, encoded ciphers, and precise geometry against Nolan's Cross to craft a permanent treasure map on the island itself. The book provides an absolute determination of where the Money Pit was originally located as well as what it was used for and how it relates to the rest of the geometry of the island and the X-marks-the-spot solution. The treasure is not in the Money Pit and never was! The original location of the H-O Stone is also revealed and how it relates to the treasure even though the original location of the mysterious stone was lost to history and blown-up by searchers. Finally, the book describes the likely engineering and the HOW of the undertaking as well as revealing the destination of the ancient Stone Road on the island. |
oak island nova scotia knights templar: Captain Kidd and His Skeleton Island: the Discovery of a Strange Secret Hidden for Centuries Harold Wilkins, 2017-08-17 Lord Birkenhead expressed the opinion that Captain William Kidd had a scrupulously fair trial when he was indicted at the Old Bailey for murder and piracy. From diligent research, the author of this book, Harold T. Wilkins, is able to show that the exact reverse was the case - that the Captain Kidd was railroaded to the gallows. Documents vital to Kidd's defense were withheld, he was refused the aid of counsel, and he was made the scapegoat for certain Whig politicians who were interested in cashing in on his privateering ventures. Wilkins presents papers and documents hitherto unknown to the public. The Captain's own charts, retrieved from their ingenious hiding places, are published for the first time. Someday, these manuscripts may aid in the recovery of actual treasure by those who can decipher the symbols. |
oak island nova scotia knights templar: The Templar Legacy W.R. Park, The Templar Legacy (a.k.a. Carpe Diem) In a failed attempt to put years of political peril and personal danger behind them, Rance and his wife Mac fly to their Castle de Molay that clings to the cliffs of southern Spain overlooking the angry Atlantic Ocean. An ancient journal bequeathed to Rance by the recently deceased last Knight Templar will plunge Rance, his wife, and their two friends into a world of mystery, adventure, and danger. Another group, led by a criminal without a conscience, called The Bishop, follows at a safe distance. Our treasure hunters are plagued with numerous pitfalls laid by the Bishop. Trapped in a mine shaft, nearly drowning in an underground river, and narrowly being crushed by a collapsing Templar booby-trap, was the least of their fears. The team scours for clues in Scotland’s fabled Rosslyn Castle and Chapel. Discovering their first real clue, they fly to Ethiopia and the ancient village of Lalibela to search miles of subterranean tunnels. With their second clue in hand, the Money Pit on Oak Island in Nova Scotia is their last stop before heading for Castle de Molay in Spain. Finally, the clues bring them full circle and face-to-face with what the world has long sought for hundreds of years—and a stunning decision. The Templar Legacy tale races and romps with a team of adventures on a modern treasure hunt and a mission of truth involving Knights Templar, Opus Dei, and the Roslyn Castle. Great fun for fans of Templar mysteries.” —New York Times bestselling author, William Dietrich |
oak island nova scotia knights templar: Secret Treasure of Oak Island D'Arcy O'Connor, 2018-08-24 It started on a summer afternoon in 1795 when a young man named Daniel McGinnis found what appeared to be an old site on an island off the Acadian coast, a coastline fabled for the skullduggery of pirates. The notorious Captain Kidd was rumored to have left part of his treasure somewhere along here, and as McGinnis and two friends started to dig, they found what turned out to be an elaborately engineered shaft constructed of oak logs, nonindigenous coconut mats, and landfill that came to be known as the Money Pit. Ever since that summer day in 1795, the possibility of what might be hidden in the depths of a small island off the south coast of Nova Scotia, Canada, has made it the site of the world's longest, most expensive, and most perplexing treasure hunt. Author D'Arcy O'Connor recounts the fascinating stories and amazing discoveries of past and current treasure seekers who have sought Oak Island's fabled treasure for over two hundred years. It has baffled scientists and madmen, scholars and idiots, millionaires and get-rich-quick schemers, psychics, engineers, charlatans, and even a former president of the United States. The island has consumed the fortunes-and in some cases, the lives-of those who have obsessively set out to unlock its secret. Despite all their efforts, the mystery remains unsolved, and not a single dime of treasure has ever been recovered. The present-day search is an archaeological dig exceeding anything ever done anywhere for similar purposes, and it may well result in the discovery of one of the world's richest and most historically significant treasures. But this is also the story of individuals who have dedicated years of their lives to discover what was buried long ago beneath this strange island. They are driven by a lust for gold, by archaeological curiosity, and by their determination to outwit the engineer who was responsible for the Oak Island enigma. |
