Sgamma racconta la vacanza in prima persona, inserendo quegli episodi, più o meno di fantasia, più o meno realistici o verosimiglianti che gli sono capitati. Ogni giornata si apre con un incubo che l’autore vive al termine della notte, in prossimità del risveglio mattutino. Nei sogni inquieti, come in altri episodi che avvengono da sveglio, si percepisce il legame che Sgamma ha con la letteratura del genere soprannaturale, paranormale o irreale. Sgamma descrive bene le situazioni, la sua penna è abile e dipinge persone, cose, avvenimenti con tocchi esperti, che giungono al lettore in modo convincente. Il ricorso all’onirico ed all’irreale frequentemente trasporta il lettore in un terreno che all’inizio non si aspetta, autentici flash di suspense. Troviamo la misteriosa Svetlana, prima immaginata come un fantasma, poi ricondotta alla realtà in un improbabile incontro sulla via del ritorno e ancora trasformatasi in figura avvolta dal mistero. Anche l’incontro con il commendatore ha un che di iperrealistico, un’avventura alla Bukowsky che si inserisce inaspettata. Belle le serate di baldoria nei bar o le meditazioni sull’esistenza, come l’incontro con il pittore o lo scontro iniziale con la Gendarmerie, dove si percepiscono vicende reali. Ecco, il pregio del libro che lo pone al di fuori dagli schemi di un semplice diario vacanziero, sta in questa alternanza paritetica fra il reale e l’irreale, tanto che a volte il lettore è portato ad interrogarsi se la pagina che sta leggendo descriva episodi dell’una o dell’altra categoria. Il libro potrà piacere ai motociclisti: la passione per il cavallo ferrato è autentica e convincente. Potrà anche piacere alla categoria degli amanti del paranormale o dell’horror, alla quale l’autore strizza sempre l’occhio, essendo lui stesso cultore del genere. Potrebbe anche interessare chi si dedica, per professione o per diletto, all’interpretazione dei sogni: troverà dovizia di episodi e potrà mettersi alla prova. Insomma una proposta valida ed interessante, alla maniera di Michele Sgamma. |
