This exam paper is commonly used to measure knowledge and application-level cognitive skills. The questions are marked out of 20 and candidates have 15 minutes per question. The content is the result of a mixture of compiled clinical experience, author opinion, allied expert opinion, best practice guidance and up to date evidence base as practiced in the UK per date of publication. The topics considered in the exam questions were intentionally chosen to represent the full spectrum of the Final FRCA curriculum.
