empire galactique asimov: Ars Magna André Delaporte, 2017-04-24 Avec ce Trésor de l'âge d'or, André Delaporte poursuit la réalisation de l'ample polyptique commencé par lui il y a une trentaine d'années. Le terme de Trésor (Thesaurus) emprunté aux Grecs et aux Romains et réutilisé à la Renaissance a été choisi à bon escient. Il ne s'agit certes pas d'une encyclopédie, mais bien plutôt de la mise en valeur, de la sculpture, du ciselage, de l'époussetage des différentes thématiques ayant trait à l'âge d'or, conçu comme nodule idéologique où viennent se concrétionner veinules de métaux différents, rares et précieux, sertissant les joyaux récoltés ou composés, principalement ici par l'humanité euro-méditerranéenne, dans les différents genres littéraires et artistiques : poésie, philosophie, histoire, politique, musique... Polyptique à la façon du célèbre et merveilleux retable d'Isenheim de Matthias Grünewald présenté au Musée Unterlinden à Colmar. Mais André Delaporte a opéré le choix de placer son polyptique en contrebas de ces dômes, d'originale création romaine : le Panthéon de Rome, et surtout, la merveille des merveilles, le gigantesque dôme de Sainte-Sophie de Constantinople et tous ses émules, des dômes de Florence et de Saint-Pierre jusques à ceux surplombant la moindre de nos églises romanes de Saintonge. Point de redites par rapport aux oeuvres précédentes d'André Delaporte, qui n'aime point à rabâcher. Mais des interprétations audacieuses, souvent surprenantes : Hésiode parle de races et non, à la façon d'Ovide, d'âges ; et il en décompte cinq (voire six ?), contrairement aux quatre canoniques ; Kronos n'est pas Khronos.
